The directions outlined below are offered as the most preferred routes by both local travelers and for those that have traveled from various out-of-state locations.  Call or email us if you need directions from any address.

Directions

From South:  Use I-77 North to Beckley, WV ..........use Exit 42 from I-77 then use directions listed below from Beckley to Pinnacle Creek Village.

From East:  Use I-64 West to Beckley WV .......... I-64 will merge with I-77N about 5 miles South of Beckley.  Take I-64/I-77 North.  Use Exit 42 then use directions listed below from Beckley to Pinnacle Creek Village.

From Northeast:  Use I-81 South to I-64 West.  Use I-64 West to Beckley, WV .......... I-64 will merge with I-77 North about 5 miles South of Beckley.  Take I-64/I-77 North.  Use Exit 42 then use directions listed below from Beckley to Pinnacle Creek Village.

From North:  Use I-79 South then merge on Route 19 South toward Summersville/Beckley.  Stay on Route 19 South for about 70 miles until you intersect with I-64/I-77 South.  Go South for about 5 miles then use Exit 42 to Route 16 South.  Then use directions listed below from Beckley to Pinnacle Creek Village.

From North:  Use I-77 South to Beckley, WV.  Use Exit 42 to Route 16 South in Beckley.  Then use directions listed below from Beckley to Pinnacle Creek Village.

From West:  Use I-64 East to Charleston, WV.  Then follow I-64/I-77 South to Beckley, WV.  Use Exit 42 to Route 17 South in Beckley.  Then use directions listed below from Beckley to Pinnacle Creek Village.

Directions From Beckley To Pinnacle Creek Village:

  • Use Exit 42 from I-77/I-64 to Route 16 South.  Stay on Route 16 for 3.5 miles to Route 54 South & 97 West (you will travel past a Hardee's, McDonald's, and Kroger).
  • At Route 54 S & Route 97 W, take a right turn (there is a traffic light and a Priddy's Hardware Store on the right side at this intersection).
  • Stay on Rt 54/Rt 97 for about 13.5 miles where you will then take Rt 97 (to the right) ..... this intersection is just past a Citgo Gas Store on the right side of the road.  Traffic signs will indicate that you are headed toward Pineville & Welch
  • Stay on Route 97 West for 12 miles.  You will come to an intersection with Route 10 in Pineville (there will be a BP Store on the left side of the intersection).
  • At this intersection, Route 10 South/Route 97 West, go left for 1/4 mile.  At the stop sign, go left on Route 10 South.
  • Travel for 1 mile on Route 10 South and then take a right turn onto Route 16 (road signs will indicate that you are headed toward Welch, WV)
  • Go 1/2 mile and our Pinnacle Creek Village Complex, with the campground & store, are located on the right side of the road at a Marathon Gas Store.

Distance & Travel Time:  Once you exit from I-77 at Exit 42 in Beckley, you will be 30 miles from the Pinnacle Creek Village Complex.  Travel time will be 1 hour or less, depending on what type of vehicle you are driving and towing.

For traveling, we recommend that you use the directions outlined above rather than some of the directions given on internet sites.  Many of our roadways are very narrow and hilly and are not the most enjoyable when towing or driving large units.  What often appears to be the shortest way on a map is not really the most preferred route.
